de Charmoy Estate is a family owned and run estate. The de Charmoy family extends to the estate staff who without the running of the estate would not be possible!

Managing Director:

Lauren, Lolly, Lulu

Daughter of the Founders Bernard and Cathy Lablache de Charmoy.

After finishing her Bachelor of Business Science Degree in Finance, Lauren and her Husband Andrew were immersed in the corporate world of Johannesburg and Lauren was working toward her CFA charter when she found her heart was with her family in Durban. The birth of their first son Seth prompted the move back home to De Charmoy Estate where she now Manages the Estate.

General Manager:

Catherine Lablache de Charmoy

Cathy, Gran Gran, Gogo

Co-Founder, decorator extraordinaire and a magician when it comes to re-imagining spaces and their uses.

Manager:

Priya Kanniah

Aunty Pri, Mama Sita

Priya joined the ranks in 2010 and has become part of the family. Aunty Pri is mostly involved in the weddings, conferences and events at the estate.

Front Desk and Shift Supervisor:

Pink Ngcongo, Kiki, Pinks

Pinky started out in Housekeeping when she joined our family in 2010 . If you have had a delicious curry at de Charmoy Estate, chances are Pinky cooked it. She is amazingly talented in the Kitchen…. But wait there is more, an all rounder, Pinky motivates and manages her team of housekeepers, kitchen staff and the laundry & garden teams.
